Join EditCo Bio and the Princess Margaret Functional Genomics team at United Health Network in Toronto for a lunch-and-learn on practical CRISPR gene editing, from choosing guides to confirming your knockouts.
This session for UHN researchers and trainees will cover:
- CRISPR-Cas9 basics, and why knock out rather than knock down with RNAi
- Gene Knockout Kits: multi-guide design versus single guides
- Confirming edits with ICE analysis, and when to choose pools or single clones
- CRISPR libraries and endogenous protein tagging
